Do I need an account to try it?
No. Paste a CV and a job description and you'll get a score and the first fixes without signing up. An account saves your work and lets you come back to it.
What happens to my CV?
It's stored and processed in the UK. To score or rewrite it we send it to named AI providers, and we ask your permission before the first time — naming exactly who. You can withdraw that at any point in settings. Full detail here.
Do you send my CV to employers or recruiters?
No. Jobtiv doesn't sell candidates, share scores with hiring companies, or work with recruiters. Nothing about you goes to anyone who hires.
Can I delete everything?
Yes, from settings, and it removes your documents, your history and the cached copies. You can also export everything we hold, in a readable format, before you go.
What's actually free?
Scoring, the resume editor, PDF export, the tracker and the salary calculators. Pro unlocks the AI-heavy tools — rewriting, letters and the career path map — and raises the usage allowance.
How does the scoring work?
Jobtiv reads the posting you paste, works out what the role requires, and checks what your CV evidences against it. The score is for that posting — paste a different job and it changes, which is the point.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from settings, in two clicks. You keep Pro until the period you've paid for ends. There's a 14-day refund window from purchase, no questions asked.
Is this just ChatGPT with a wrapper?
No, and the difference is in two places. Jobtiv doesn't send everything to one engine — different tasks go to whichever is strongest at that task. And the parts that matter most aren't AI at all: the salary data, the scoring against a specific posting, the tracker, the calculators, and the structure that keeps every tool working from one profile.
Do you have an affiliate programme?
